In the history of humanity there were great inventors like Da Vinci, Tesla, Edison and Marconi, among others. Their creations change the history of mankind and that is why we remember them as great minds of their time.

However, there are some inventions that were designed and created but never really took off. Some of these inventions were greatly improved before actually hitting the market and many others never even caught on to begin with.
