By now, you’re probably very familiar with astronaut Scott Kelly since we’ve already mentioned him a few times around here. Over the past year, Scott Kelly showed what it’s like to live in space through his social networks, he became the all time U.S. leader for time in space, and even grew a flower on ISS. Well, he is finally back home after record stay in space.
Scott Kelly spent precisely 340 days at the International Space Station. The mission shared with Russian astronaut Mikhail Kornienko aimed to study the human body for future missions to mars. The two astronauts returned to Earth, accompanied by fellow Russian astronaut Sergei Volkov, who spent five months in space. Their return was transmitted live by NASA and they landed on Tuesday at 11:26 p.m. Eastern in Kazakhstan.
